Internetseminarier fungerar väldigt bra Jag har deltagit i seminarier via internet och tycker det är väldigt smidigt och bra. Det är inte mycket man går miste om, jämfört med att fysiskt besöka seminariet. Man spar mycket tid och hela kostnaderna för resor. Pröva på att delta 17 april! De seminarier jag deltagit i är presentationer av nya datorprogram. Det är bra exempel på när internetseminarier helt kan ersätta fysisk närvaro. Det enda jag är intresserad av är ju nyheterna i programmen och kunna ställa frågor. Föredragshållaren syns i en ruta på skärmen. Illustrationer (powerpoints o dyl kan läggas ut i en separat ruta. I en tredje ruta ligger t ex programpunkter, namn på föredragshållaren, deltagarförteckning, m m. I en fjärde ruta skriver du in dina frågor till föredragshållaren, eller till andra deltagare i seminariet, och får svar. Fördelen med internetseminarier är att det är mycket lättare att sitta hemma vid skrivbordet och ställa frågor, än att tala i mikrofon och kanske från talarstolen. På ditt eget kontor har du allt eget referensmaterial nära intill dig och du kan formulera frågorna bättre. Du kan även skriva frågorna i förväg och kopiera in dem på chatten. Mariann Fischer Boel, Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development will speak at both the beginning and the end of the event, which will be held in the Charlemagne building from 09.00 to 19.00. She will also visit the workshops to discuss directly with the young farmers. The event comes as reflections begin on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy. This process begins with a "Health Check" to assess whether the reformed CAP is working as it should and whether any adjustments should be made. The second step, as part if the 2008/09 review of the European Union's budget, will be an analysis of what the CAP should look like after 2013. The event will give young farmers the opportunity to feed their thoughts into this debate. Views will also be sought from other groups, including consumers and researchers. This important event will also be webstreamed live on the internet. "The CAP has recently gone through the biggest reforms in its history," said Commissioner Fischer Boel. "I am convinced that we will need a strong CAP in the future, but it must be fit for the challenges of the 21st century. As we look ahead, it is vital to share the vision of those who will be at the frontline – our young farmers. They are the future of agriculture and they have proved willing and able to adapt to the new conditions they face. I am looking forward to a lively and frank debate.
